New Year 2012


This is my first time to witness the most anticipated fireworks display at Sydney Harbour Bridge. I together with Ate Maria went to Balls Head Park, Waverton. As expected, many spectators have chosen their spot while waiting for midnight. Luckily, our size (thanks to the asian genes) was an advantage to find a good view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. When the count down started, 10, 9 ,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1..............In unison, Happy New Year!!!!! Booooom!!!!!

Day Tour: Shire of York

York is a scenic town situated east of Perth, Western Australia (WA). It is part of the Avon Valley of WA. I together with my favourite partner, Paowee; drove 1.5 hours with the reliable Noah (Hyundai Getz). Along the way, beautiful landscapes have mesmerised us. We also passed by the vast land of wheat plantation. Initially, we were trying to figure if it was wheat, barley or oats we saw --- until we did a little research and it is confeerrrmmeeddd, WHEAT won.

Firstly, we went to the Town Hall of York. We asked for assistance on the "must-see attractions" found in the area. We were given map and booklets to guide us. And so our very smart brains instructed us to visit the adjacent spots before we head for the farthest one...grabeh, it was just a split of a second to come up with that idea...pinaghirapan talaga!!!

Sculpture by the Sea 2011

Sculpture by the Sea is an annual outdoor exhibition from different artists in Australia. This year, I was fortunate to take a walk from Tamarama Beach to Bondi Beach. More than a hundred sculptures were showcased in this event. Heaps of people were eager to look on each creation. Let me share to you some of the most interesting pieces.
